The City of Cape Town's intends to pass an animal bylaw that will limit households to two dogs or two cats each.
Aspects of the bylaws, include the intention to confiscate "excess" animals and put them, and strays, into pounds and destroy them after seven to 10 days.

- a Naboomspruit high school advertising a bird hunt on the land of local farmers who have children at the school.
The school itself is the 'charity'.
